Harmony STL chapter announces new executive director

ST. CHARLES, MO. - Harmony STL is thrilled to announce the appointment of Tim Myers as its new executive director. Myers is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in nonprofit management, strategy, planning and fundraising.
With proven ability to drive membership growth and enhance financial stability, our new executive director is dedicated to building strategic partnerships that sustain and expand our mission-driven organization.
Recognized for exceptional communication, transparency and relationship-building skills, Myers inspires teams, donors and board members to align with Harmony STL’s vision.
His adept leadership in managing complex organizations and fostering community engagement will be instrumental in advancing our mission to promote and celebrate the art of a cappella and enhance engagement of our audiences, donors and singers.
The new executive director will lead Harmony STL, a distinguished nonprofit chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society comprised of three choruses in the St. Louis region. As executive director, Myers will provide strategic direction for the chapter to enhance financial sustainability and promote our mission to enrich lives through a cappella singing.
We are excited to embark on this new chapter under Myers’ leadership and look forward to the continued growth and success of Harmony STL.
Harmony STL is a vibrant chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society that built on a foundation of more than 60 years of musical tradition. The chapter is home to three competitive choruses in the St. Louis region: the Ambassadors of Harmony men’s chorus established in 1963, the Recruits Chorus, an all-voices youth ensemble that started more than a decade ago and Visions of Harmony, a women’s chorus that formed in 2022. Together, the three choruses make up Harmony STL, a singing organization committed to sharing the joy of expanding choral singing in St. Louis and beyond.

HARMONY STL
Harmony STL is a vibrant chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society, built on a foundation of over 60 years of musical tradition. Our story began with the Ambassadors of Harmony, a men's chorus dedicated to the captivating art form of barbershop singing.
Over time, our passion for harmony grew. We welcomed The Recruits Chorus, an all-voices youth ensemble, to our chapter, nurturing a love of singing in the next generation. In 2022, we were thrilled to establish a vibrant new women's chorus, the Visions of Harmony, further enriching our musical family.
This dedication to inclusivity led us to a fundamental shift. We wanted a name that reflected the welcoming spirit of our chapter and our broader mission of sharing the joy of harmony with everyone. Thus, Harmony STL was born!
Today, Harmony STL is more than just singing groups; we're a community of passionate singers, friends, and family. We believe in the power of barbershop to unite people across backgrounds and create a sense of belonging. We strive to share this unique American art form with our community, fostering a love of singing and harmony that resonates for generations to come.
